MADISON GROUP PRODUCES POPULAR MOVIE REVIEW PODCAST
MADISON — Every week a group of local movie lovers sit down in front of microphones and review movies for their niche podcast.
Dubbed the InstaFlicka Podcast, the weekly movie review and talk show, is based on the entertainment choices in the Netflix Instant Watch Queue.
“There are thousands of movies available to watch online through Netflix’s service – some are great and some are not so great. We sift through the rough and find the diamonds,” said co-founder Phil Butcher.
The show’s hosts watch the preplanned movies and then gather to discuss their merits or lack of merits over a few beers. The movie choices, which are often suggestions from listeners, range from old to new and well known to obscure.
“We like to mix it up and watch movies from many different eras and movies of many different tastes. It keeps things fresh and allows us and our listeners to consider movies that we may have never thought about previously,” said co-founder Jonny Gausewitz .
