Swanberg Finds the ‘Silver Bullets’ for Filmmaking Depression

When Joe Swanberg started making his movie Silver Bullets, he wasn’t sure where it was going and he wasn’t sure where his career was going. “At the time I really was not excited about filmmaking. I wasn’t excited about the films that I was seeing other people make and I certainly wasn’t excited about the stuff that I was making,” Swanberg said during a discussion of his career following a screening of Silver Bullets on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus Friday evening (Feb. 24).
